Origional Owner selling a custom Rogers Precision gunsmithed competition-carry 1911 Para-Ordnance Gov. model 14-45 in 45 ACP. - high capacity double stack 14 rd magazine. [ 7 magazines & magazine storage case are included with the pistol]
History & Condition:
This gun was purchased new in 1995 and sent to Rogers Precision of Prescott, AZ for his custom preformance and esthetic build as documented by the origional build sheet pictured with the gun.
In addition to the Chuck Rogers build the gun also had a "hard chrome" metal finish done to resist wear. The pistol is a full steel frame with the orginal factory competition barrel.
The gun was used one year in 1995 to compete in the IPSIC national competition and then the owner retired from competing and the gun was put up and has not been used since.
Mr. Chuck Rogers of Rogers precision has not been accepting new work for years and his precision work is thought to be some of the top gunsmithing in the industry.This gun is a outstanding representation of his work & preforms accordingly.
The pistol is in excellent condition and will make someone a handsome and enjoyable addition to their 1911 collection providing a great entry into competition or just enjoyable shooting.
