Scarce Fully Engraved Manhattan Firearms 1860 Navy Percussion Revolver Series III, .36 Caliber, 5 shot with 5” Octagon bbl, serial number 28,XXX circa 1863. All matching numbers including wedge. Has 1859 Patent date on cylinder with 1 line barrel address, MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS CO. NEWARK N.J.” Cylinder scene remains highly visible. Engraving is in excellent shape throughout revolver; metal retains a nice gray patina mixed with orginal finish. Cylinder does have one damaged nipple. Grips are in good condition with a few dents on bottom. Action is crisp with good timing.
