Description:
Ruger 77 RSM (Ruger Safari Magnum) in 458 Lott. Over all condition is new, test fired only by the factory. As per Ruger, safely shoots 458 Winchester Magnum shells as designed. It has a 23 inch barrel with a 1 in 14 twist. It has an integral (machined from the barrel blank) sighting rib with two folding leafs. Its LOP is 13 1/2" over the factory pad. Scope bases are machined into the receiver, and your choice of either 1" or 30mm rings are included. Its other attributes include: Polished bolt body with controlled round extractor, steel trigger guard with hinged floor plate release, cross bolt and double recoil lugs (one on the receiver and the other on the barrel), crisp trigger with swing safety, safari style banded front sight and swivel loop, high grade circassian walnut stock with pistol grip and hand-cut fine-line checkering, ebony foretip, wood finished in a low sheen luster, metal surfaces deeply blacken-blued (bolt handle and receiver body have started to purple). This was Ruger's top of the line bolt action, Mfg. 1990-2010. Only the custom firearms maker does metal work like this anymore. Weighs approx. 9 1/2 lbs. Last MSR was $2,404.
