Description:
 NICE CONDITION CASE COLORED 1893 RIFLE IN SCARCE .32-40 WITH "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL" MARKED 26" FULL OCTAGON BARREL, MADE C.1908, fine example with a MINTY EXCELLENT BORE, fine deep barrel and mag blue with only light brown mixing on the mag tube, receiver shows good somewhat aging case color that is still distinct but mixing dark and brown, vivid color in all the protected areas and back half of the receiver, exc. butt stock with only normal flaking of the wood finish and tight wood to metal fit, forearm shows light normal handling with one ding on the right side and a hairline crack starting on the bottom coming back from the forend cap for a couple inches (easily repaired- minor) Lyman tang sight with Sheard marked blade/bead front sight, rear barrel dovetail has a filler blank and doesn't appear to have ever had a sight, tight action, much nicer than normally encountered especially in this hard to find desirable caliber.
