UNALTERED MODEL 1920 BOLT RIFLE IN DESIRABLE .250-3000 CALIBER, WITH CORRECT RECEIVER SIGHT, Serial number in the 5XXX range, this was the first commercial bolt action sporting rifle (aside from the Winchester and Remington Lee & Hotchkiss) beating both Remington and Winchester by a number of years! This is a very fine example that came out the Pacific Northwest, exc. slightly aged blue overall with only the trigger guard and floor plate worn/aged to brown-gray and some very slight barrel thinning, exc. wood with sharp checkering, original steel butt plate, sling eyes, no rear sight in the dovetail, correct Lyman receiver sight mounted on the bolt, bore will clean exc., very difficult to find especially in this caliber and in unaltered condition- most got drilled and tapped for scope mounting and had recoil pads installed, etc. This is a fine example
