When John Olin wanted to have title to the strongest side by side shotgun in the world, he went to work and got it done. The Model 21 is an American icon in the double gun world and its reputation is well deserved. A strikingly handsome gun with the finest single selective trigger ever devised, gunners in the know have utilized this Winchester in the field and at the club to shoot thousands of rounds without failure. This particular M21, sn2935 built in 1934, has a factory letter and the gun matches except the pad, with finely figured wood, perfect screws, wood to metal fit, checkering, etc. There were only about 32,000 model 21's ever produced by Winchester and they are in strong demand. They only made the Tournament Grade gun for 2 years. It was a custom order gun only and had much nicer wood, English style stock with checkered side panels, and it is very desirable in the world of Model 21 shooters. The WS1 and WS2 chokes are super for birds over pointing dogs, especially grouse in the coverts, and of course for shooting clay targets. The Model 21 has always been a very desirable and collectible gun that will continue gain value as you enjoy its use. This one has been wonderfully restored to factory specifications and done to perfection. Thanks for looking.
