Description:
Parker GHE 20 Gauge SxS Shotgun
28" BARRELS, EJECTORS, FULLY RESTORED

General Specs: Parker, Year 1928, 20 Gauge, 6lbs 3oz, Side by Side
Serial Number: 225024

I am fortunate to be in a business where I get to handle a lot of fine shotguns!  Parker 20ga. guns are amongst them.  This little Parker, sn225024 built in 1928, is 1 of 438 Parker GHE 20's with 28" Parker Steel barrels, 1 of less than 1000 GH Parker 20ga. guns ever made, with only 600 or so with ejectors.   With only 500 or so left on the planet, this is not a common gun.  It is a delightful little bird gun and an investment quality firearm you can use and enjoy while it increases in value over time.  Restored almost 10 years ago and still in near new condition, this is a delightful Parker weighing just 6lbs. 3oz.  and balanced perfectly in hand.  The gun is cleaned, inspected, and lubricated inside and out, with action tight on breech face and hinge pin, lever way right of center, perfect screws, sharp clear lettering and engraving, nicely figured wood, perfect checkering, and all parts original to the gun.  With 14 5/16" LOP to a factory buttplate and great stock dimensions, choked M/F, this is a great upland gun or sporting clays gun that will be a joy to shoot and carry.  Use RST Shotshell Spreader loads and you will be shooting IC/M patterns, so this gun can go from pheasants to ruffed grouse...very versatile indeed!  The restoration done on this gun is impressive, with everything done to historically correct finishes and specs.  Properly restored guns are in strong demand, as most shooter/collectors like a gun to have strong finishes and prefer not to wait the year or longer to restore a gun.  When you consider that a proper restoration easily exceeds $3000 in costs, this gun is a true bargain!  Thanks for looking.
