98 Mauser Austrian sporting rifle that has been refurbrished and made scope friendly, original stepped barrel, 30-06 caliber in excellent condition, ramped front sight and bead, barrel sling swivel, new blue, mod. 70 bolt handle, & buehler safety added, receiver drilled and tapped, I have installed a set of Leupold bases and rings... stock refinished to a egg shell finish, and the wood is very nicely grained with nice color, The inletting is original and very well done indeed, Stock has a European pancake cheekpiece and schnable forend, Neidner steel checkered butt plate and Talley grip cap added..
.A super nice light hunting Rifle in 30-06 caliber that is exceptionally accurate with 1" groups average when tested with several different loads.
