Description:
Especially hard to find A H Fox Sterlingworth Skeet & Upland 20 gauge (serial #270421) made in 1939 (according to factory letter) with 26" double beaded barrels choked cylinder & improved cylinder. One of only thirty four 20 gauge Skeet & Upland known. What a great close cover woodcock & grouse gun this Fox double would make! Barrel lock up is tight to the receiver with the forearm off and the top lever is a little to the right. It has a good amount of original case color remaining on the receiver bottom, top and sides. It has good bluing with some thinning here & there and the wood is not bad with some light handling marks. The bores are shiney with no pitting and this little Fox has 2 3/4" chambers. LOP measures 14 1/8" with a DAH at 2 1/2". It weighs in at 5 lb 14 oz. $70 SH&I to most of the lower 48. Eight far west states at $80 SH&I. Postal money orders for payment.
