Description: 22" matted-top, octagon-to-round Douglas barrel, transitioning again to round just at the breech, with nickel-silver blade front sight, button half-magazine and no rear barrel sight. Fully figured California English walnut stock with casehardened forend tip, short forend, classic point-pattern 26-LPI checkering with mullered borders, ebony-inlaid S-curve pistol grip, sweeping beaded cheekpiece, and smooth casehardened steel shotgun buttplate. Blued receiver, fine scroll engraved by William Gamradt, with factory single-set trigger, casehardened hammer and loading lever, fire-blued loading gate, and Winchester Model 62B folding tang peep sight. Pull: 13 3/4". Weight: 7lbs, 15oz. Completed in 1999. Barrel and action retaining 99% blue, the barrel with no Winchester markings---simply an inset gold SDH touchmark at breech---the hammer, lever, forend cap and buttplate retaining virtually 100% casecolors.
