Description:
This Model 1873 first generation Single Action Colt is a 38 WCF cal and is in very good condition. It sports a 5 1/2 inch barrel and nickel plated by Colt, retaining about 90% of original finish. The bore is good as shown in the photos. Grips are rubber with the Colt emblem and was manufactured in 1903. According to the letter from Colt,, it was shipped, along with three other guns to Simmons Hardware in St Louis Missouri in March 1903. It has been appraised at $6750 by a reputable gunsmith and retail gun shop. Would love to find a Collector who would appreciate this beauty for what it is. And the price is VERY RIGHT. Asking $5000 but will consider all serious offers.Case is included. I am also including a Custom Made Belted Holster made just for this Colt by The Justin Boot Co.
