Description:
Browning Belgium 22 LR Wheel Sight rifle manufactured in 1958 in Excellent Condition. This rifle has been fired and has a few very small dings in the wood. Few small marks on the blue also. Comes with a period correct Weaver J 4 scope, Williams scope mount with engraving- Belgium Engraved factory option for both- This has to be a fairly rare option for the time, pic info from the Homer Tyler Book. While this rifle is not signed- I inquired to Angelo Bee if he could identify this engraving work. He quickly replied that it was his former Boss at FN,-Felix Funken style engraved-whom Angelo apprenticed for and worked under for many years. Angelo was kind enough to send a letter to that fact, which is included in the . Also included is an early Browning 22 case in pristine condition. Serial number on receiver and butt plate match. Gold trigger in excellent condition. No cracks in the wood, rifling and bore are excellent. Checkering is in excellent condition. No sales to Calif or international.
