Description:
Colt Archive lettered 1881 Single Action Army, 7 1/2 inch barrel and .45 caliber. Serial #65714, with all matching numbers, manufactured and shipped in 1881 to hardware and sporting goods retailer Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. of Chicago (photo of letter below). CONDITION: VG all around, including bore and markings. Grips are VG+ and action is tight. Smooth gray-brown with minor freckling here and there. A very nice representation of the Peacemaker, made in the middle of the Sheep and Cattle Wars. I am a collector and not a dealer. I have owned this gun since 1998. If you're  interested and want to see additional photos, I will send as requested. Thanks for looking.
