Description:
S# 50876, 25-20 Single shot Caliber, 28 inch barrel, good bore with erosion thoughout. This 1891 built rifle looks good with barrel showing 70% blue with muzzle area fading brown and scattered specks of staining mixed with light scratches and two sets of wrench marks near rear sight. Frame is grey with smooth surfaces. Several screws show slot damage. Stock had some finish added long ago, forend is sound with ebony tip. Butstock has a 2 1/2 inch crack on right side behind frame. Action works well and gun looks better than it sounds. it comes with a Cody letter confirming configuration and build date. Antique
