This is a cased set for 12 and 20 bore shotguns containing: a two-piece segmented cleaning rod with lobed horn handle; three horn handled turn-screws; two brass jags (12 and 20); two wire brushes (12 and 20); three bore mops (two 12 and one 20); two stuck shell extractors (12 and 20) two sets of Purdey metal snap caps; two oil vials; a square-base Purdey oil bottle; and square patches. The set is housed in its original walnut case (15 1/4” x 7 5/8” x 2 1/2”) with olive green morocco lined lid, and dark green velvet-lined, compartmented interior with matching olive green morocco inner compartment cover. A black leather James Purdey & Sons maker's label is affixed to the inner lid and the set rates excellent, little-used condition overall. A great Christmas gift for the shotgun enthusiast.
