Description:
Serial #T1649C, .30-06, 22 1/2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome rifle appears to have been built by CZ on a large ring Mauser action and retains 95% of the original blue with only some very minor faded areas at the muzzle and on some of the exposed edges and surfaces. The bolt is finished bright and has some light leaf spray engraving on the handle with a knurled ring around the bolt knob as well. The action has been honed and functions smoothly and easily and the rifle is equipped with a front sporting sight and ramp but there is no provision for a rear sight, rather the rifle is fitted with typical German double claw mounts markd "Z" fitted with a Hensoldt 6x Duralyt scope. The optics are clear and the post and line reticle is intact. The European style stock has a shadowline cheek-piece and exhibits some minor scattered handling marks and blemishes throughout the original dark brown oil finish. There is a black forend tip with white line spacer and matching pistol grip cap, Greener safety on the left side, as well as a dark brown Pachmayr recoil pad at the butt. The rifle is fitted with sling swivel eyelets and currently mounts 1' QD swivels with a lightly crazed and flaked brown leather sling installed. This is a fantastic and well-made 'Mauser hunting rifle that is in excellent condition and would be perfect for most North American game. FFL or C&R
