Description:
Early Winchester 1866 Saddle Ring Carbine made in 1868. Early gun with the Henry marked barrel address. Gun is serial number 16837 and is all matching. Barrel has a smooth gray patina, frame has a nice dark patina. Gun has a bright and shiny bore, surprisingly good with the exception of a bulge just behind the front barrel band. Very nice early gun that was made just after the flat side carbines.
