Description:
This large (20 inch) horn has a flat cork plug in the large end. Spout end is wrapped in cord for strength and a hand carved plug fills spout. Spout end is missing a small piece and shows several cracks. Body of horn is marked "MC" and shows many marks from service. This interesting horn came from Nova Scotia. Cord is fastened at plug end through a hole in horn, it is woven into the twine wrapping at spout end.
