MODEL 53 TAKEDOWN IN .32-20 CALIBER, MADE 2ND. YEAR PRODUCTION 1925, only made from 1924- 1932, the standard caliber for this model was .25-20 with 16,905 being made. In .32-20 only 4,718 were produced making them much harder to locate, mostly gray receiver with fine blue on the loading gate, good lightly thinning blue on the barrel, fine wood with normal handling only, exc. wood to metal fit, tight takedown, tight action, exc. bore, nice screws, correct steel shotgun butt plate, serial number 1XXX.
