ATTIC CONDITION EARLY 1873 .38-40 SPECIAL ORDER 26" ROUND BARREL (2 INCHES LONGER THAN STANDARD) RIFLE, MADE 1884, receiver blue intact and aged to a very pleasing deep plum, barrel and mag also aged to an attractive freckled plum/brown with original sights and fine markings and a couple small areas where some old light rust was cleaned off, fine+ wood with good wood to metal fit, mellow brass lifter marked "38 CAL" fine bore is fairly bright with any roughness light and surface toward the middle of the bore, original dust cover intact, very attractive and scarce in this special barrel length.
