this is a Casartelli Carlo model Africa In 375 Holland & Holland.
The late Casartelli was the greatest Italian custom rifle maker of our time he only made a few of these rifles by special order. This particular one came from England (Casartellis were never imported to the U.S.) It was built on a Berlin Waffenfabrik Mauser action and engraved by master engraver Mario Terzi (his book was just released in the U.S.) it sports a Zeiss Diavari scope on quick release German claw bases , unfired as new with very minor gun cabinet rash on the stock comes with the original leather case.
