Spencer Army Model Rifle, caliber .52 inch, cartridge 56-56 Spencer, with 30" barrel, full stock forend with iron tip fastened by three barrel bands with sling swivels. There were approximately 11,450 produced (1863-1864) for the Army during the Civil War. They are similar to the Navy model except that the front sight doubles as a bayonet lug. This rifle is in excellent condition and the bore is mint. A very rare rifle ready for the serious collector.
