Description:
A nice early Winchester 87 built in 1888. It has the good looking brown/grey patina on both bbl and receiver. Good markings. 30" bbl has light to moderate pitting. Overall good condition bore. Wood is above normal with the 2 forearm slabs all there. This is the early correct 1-screw version. Buttstock has some scratches and dings and is VG overall. Fits well. It has had a coat of varnish added years ago. Correct metal "Widow's Peak" buttplate.
