Verney Carron 470 Double Rifle
Up for sale is a beautiful gently used Verney Carron 470 double rifle. This rifle has beautiful wood featuring a shadowline cheekpeice, extended top tang, pistol grip plate with hidden compartment, and recoil pad. This rifle has express sights with 2 flip up leafs and a flip up night sight. The rifle has great triggers and strong ejectors that are in perfect time. This is a very accurate double, it shoots stock off the shelf ammo very well, and is easy to reload for if desired. Norma PH ammo always worked very well with this little rifle. The rifle weights 10lbs and is a joy to shoot; some doubles will beat you to death, not this rifle. The finish on this gun is excellent and only faint traces of handling can be found.
LOP is 14,3/4” to the end of the recoil pad. Barrels are 24”
