In 2012, we began our journey to build the LSA-13 - the next evolution of the AR-15 rifle platform.
Not only does the LSA-13 have an extremely aggressive stance, it is machined to the most exacting specifications.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Upper Receiver: Fully CNC machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum. Flat top design. Ultimate versatility for mounting optics and other enhanced components. CNC engraved numbered rail system. Truss System reinforces key areas for the ultimate in strength.
Lower Receiver: Fully CNC machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum. Tracstar™ magwell with full traction pockets on the front and both sides of the magwell. Designed for the operator to grip and maintain weapon control even in the most extreme conditions. Beveled magwell entry makes magazine changes faster. Tension device on lower receiver to maintain tightness between upper and lower receivers. Rear detent spring capture device to facilitate easier removal of buffer tube. Built in trigger guard is designed for use with gloves and eliminates the need for a flip down trigger guard. Truss System reinforces key areas for the ultimate in strength.
Barrel: Sub-MOA 4150V Chrome moly vanadium 16" steel barrel with nitride finish. 1:7 Twist. M4 profile. Gas Block: Double picatinny design allows mounting of backup sight on top while leaving another rail underneath for mounting a flashlight or other accessory.
Finish: Cerakote™ finish for increased wear resistance. Matching colors compliment the rifle furniture and additional accessories.
Gas System: Carbine length direct impingement with correctly staked gas tube. G rip: Magpul® MOE® Grip with TSP texture for increased grip. Compatible with optional Magpul® storage cores that house items such as spare batteries, bolt and fire pin core, and lube bottle.
Stock: Magpul® MOE® Stock: with 6 position adjustment. 32 ¾" rifle length fully collapsed, 36 ½" rifle length fully extended.
Flash Arrestor: A2 style to minimize muzzle flash.
Magazine: Comes standard with Magpul® 30 Round MOE® PMAG® magazine.
Case: Shipped in included single rifle case with foam interior, padlock tabs, and carry handle.
