A Star Firestar M43 9mm semi-auto in fair to good shape. Serial #1941796. The "starvel" finish has just a few spots where it's getting roughed up. (I think the starvel finish is their name for their own type of nickel plating). Pics will show most of the good/bad on this pistol and there's really not too much bad on it. See the pens pointing to the two spots that are "roughed up". If you've ever owned a Star you'd know they are an A grade pistol at a B grade price. Very well fitted slide to frame. Has a magazine disconnect. Can be unloaded with safety on. They are very accurate and reliable. Extremely rugged. My first CCW handgun was a Star Firestar Plus (the plus meant high cap staggered rounds in the mag. This Firestar holds 7 in the mag and one in the launch tube). I thought it was great. The only reason I don't carry this gun is I've become hooked on the polymer frame CCW pistols. If you're looking for a good CCW or house protection gun look no further. I priced this little gem below market price to give someone a chance to save some money but who knows what it'll end up going for. Oh well...that's business I suppose.
