Danzig Arsenal 98 8mm caliber rifle. Produced for the German military in 1916 for WWI. Serial numbers are all matching. Safety is a later replacement. Bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves with a minor are of pitting. Wood is very good with dents and dings no cracks. There are faint cartouches on the wood. Good overall condition.
