Colt Double Diamond set. Colt Python 6” bright stainless steel revolver and a Colt Officers .45 acp bright stainless steel pistol put together by Colt as a matched pair made in 1986 commemorating the 150th anniversary of Colt. Each gun is absolutely New in the Box. The Python is serial number DD0964 and the Officers is 0964DD. In addition to the matching/special serialization both the Python and the Officers have the Double Diamond engraved on the left side, matching bright stainless steel finish and matching smooth wood grips. All of the paperwork comes with the set. Originally the set came with a display case that had a medallion with it; I do not have the case! There were only 1000 pairs made in 1986 making this a highly desirable set for the “Snake” gun collectors. Sold as a set only.
