Description:
Beautiful set of Howdah Pistols.  Well made and strong yet smooth actioned.  Fits in the hand well and are very well balanced.  Great example of single shot Howdah pistols.  Matched set, built in 1890.  Built for use against large and dangerous game in the deepest darkest parts of Africa and India.  Just imagine having these pieces of art in your collection.  A piece of history from days gone past when dangerous game was the name of the game and exploring uncharted territory was the days journy.  A time when the abuility to execute a quick snap shot at a charging lion or tiger from one or both of these beautifully and masterfully hand crafted firearms was the difference between returning back to camp or dying in the wilderness.  These fine, quaility, and wondeful firearms would be the crown jewl of any collection.
