J.R. Gow and Sons boxlock ejector with original barrels nitro proofed. No pitting.
A well know Scottish maker this is a timeless design and mechanism.
Nicely engraved action with a well dimensioned stock and a very solid set of original barrels well within proof completing the package. Some small handling dents in the stock but checkering is good. Blacking is very good to excellent throughout. This gun would serve anyone well and should warrant your strong consideration. Chokes are Left mod. Right Cyl Length of pull 13 7/8" Drop at toe 1 1/2" Drop at heel 2 1/4" Barrels are 30 1/4" long. Minimum wall is Right at 25 & Left 26 thousands. Nitro proofed all original. Weight 6 pounds and 10 ounces. 2 1/2" chamberd.
Gun is in proof. I measured the drop points as best I can they should be pretty close if not right on.
