A real nice antique Springfield 45-70 Trapdoor Carbine Model 1873 made in 1880. Cut down from a rifle, but a real good job. 22 inch barrel. Good wood. Good metal. Good bore with good rifling and no pitting. This gun looks to be fireable, but you may want to check with a gunsmith first. Acquired the gun from a collector and never had a chance to fire it.
