Description:
Mannlicher-Schoenauer M1908 8x56, unbelievable Tiger Stripe wood, Paul Jaeger scope mount, Unertl Hawk 4x scope. This gun is absolutely mint, no handling marks or scratches of any kind, beautiful tiger stripe stock from tip to toe. Checkering is crisp, brass oval on stock, all metal is perfect. The action glides as smooth as silk, double trigger. Perfect bore. The only flaw is there is a small split in the finish of the wood (I'm not calling it a crack as is only appears below the scope side mount about 1/4 inch in the center will not photgraph) very minor, but I disclose all. I have never seen a M1908 as nice ever. I believe this to be an early gun SN 53xx.
