Description:
These Model One 2nd Issues were produced from serial number 11,672 in 1860 until serial number 126361 in 1868. This one is Serial Number 81985. Can you imagine any company selling a second quality gun nowadays? The only flaw that I can see is a small casting flaw in the sideplate. The cylinder retains 90% of it's original blue. The barrel retains about 10%. This has flaked off rather than worn off. The bore is dark and lightly pitted with strong rifeling. The ejecter rod also retains about 90% of it's original blue. The frame retains 85-90% of it's original silver plating. The grips retain all of thier original varnish. This one has it all; rarity, condition, and desireability. Comes with a vintage unmarked holster.
