This is an ultra-rare, and very early (ser. #30xxx) Winchester 1866 Full Nickel Musket, used for special occasions and ceremonies. It complete complete with its original leather sling and bayonet. The full rifle, including the bayonet are in original nickel, with the receiver having 70% remaining, as well as the 70% also on the barrel and magazine tube. The wood fits well and is in good condition, with a minor crack in the forearm at the front tip. It has its early Henry-style 900 yard ladder sight. The action functions well and barrel shows a bore with strong rifling. This is only the second one that I've ever even heard of, and would stand out in any collection.
