Description:
JUST LOWERED THE PRICE TO $1,999.00.  Case is not pictured & is sold pending funds. I can't change the header listing to remove the case. $1,999.00 is for the gun only.

A well-known and extremely well respected provincial maker. Top barrel rib says Rosson & Son, 4 Market Head, Derby
An ornately engraved action with 80% coverage featuring sculpted fences with oak leaves and retaining a considerable amount of case color and grey patina.
Excellent dimensions on the London oil finished stock with drop points and well executed and crisp checkering.
Blacking is excellent throughout including the rust blued barrels which are well in proof.
Truly nothing to do here but head to the field!

Chokes are Left 3/4  and  Right 1/4.  28" original barrels with nitro proofed 2.5" chambers. Length of pull is 14 5/8". Minimum wall is 25 thousandths.  The small screw that goes in the hook is installed. I had the barrels blacked in England by Rowland Watson gunmakers. They forgot to put it back in before they shipped it back to me. This gun is all original and in very good condition. I was not going to sell this one but I have another gun in mind I really want. I have been collecting a long time. This gun was completely serviced a few months ago and is totally ready. I measured drop at comb 1 and 9/16.   Drop at heel 2 and ½.   Weight 6 pounds 5 ounces.
