This is an original colt 1851 navy revolver. In some ways excellent in other ways not. Markings on barrel and serial numbers are all sharp and clear and matching. Cocks fine and cylinder turns good. I'm no expert on guns. Just came out of attic of old time collector I don't know if it's been reblued ?? I believe part has been chromed I doubt original. At some point an owner decided to dress it up. He also has his name. H Johnson. Marked on grip. Small amount of pitting. Call 716-553-5314 for additional questions or pictures.
