Description:
Parker Brothers GH GRADE, 12 ga., 28" BBLs, #2 Frame, 1897 Date, 70% Original Case Colors, Parker Special Steel (Fluid Steel, not Twist or Damascus), 98% Original Blueing.

Serial Number: 872xx Behold an incredible example of one of the finest shotguns ever made. This is a Parker Brothers Makers 12 gauge Grade GH with 28" barrels with Mod/Full chokes in High Original Condition. Double Triggers. Original Case Colors remain at 70+%. The Original factory bluing finish is at 98% with perfectly consistent, deep satin coloration over the entire length of the barrels. The bores are very bright and very clean. No worry about enough barrel wall thickness - plenty of steel to spare. The action is precise and very tight. The receiver locks up making the venerable Parker "rat trap" sound. Very Sexy. The stocks don't appear to have been refinished and remain in about 90+ condition. All Serial Numbers Match. The Parker Collectors Association has original Parker Shop records on this gun. No wobble or wiggle when open or closed. LOP is 14 1/4" over original "Dog's Head Buttplate with Widow's Peak into the heel. Drop at comb is 2", Drop at Heel is 3 1/4".

This is one of the finest original examples of very well cared for 118 year old treasure that is equally fit to perform today as the day it left Meriden Connecticut.

Gun Will be shipped in an English Leather Case that the gun was received in As pictured.

THREE DAY INSPECTION ON THIS FINE GUN. SERIOUS OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED.
