Description:
W.C. Scott is a well known and well respected gun maker from England. Markings are the W.C. Scott markings and "The Monte Carlo B". On the center rib is "Expressly Made for Wm. Beal" and an address. SxS hammerless double with 30" bbls in 12 ga. Excellent shape gun with nearly all blue and perfect mirror bores. Most case color remains on frame along with game scenes and intricate tight quality engraving. What really catches your eye is the stock on this gun. It is long! LOP is 15-3/8". Straight stock variety with very fine checkering. There is an escutcheon on the bottom of the stock with the initials "D L R". Topped of with a white line recoil pad. Both bbls are full choke and was evidently set up for trap shooting. If you have long arms and want a good looking vintage trap gun this would be a good choice.
