#4996 Colt 1892 D/A “Swing-Out” revolver, 4-1/2”x41COLT caliber with a fine smooth action and an 8+ bore. Serialized in the 12XXX range, so probably 1892-93 production. This is a very nice revolver with about 65-70% good strong blue, the remainder thinning to grey metal, and fine markings. The grips show medium wear and have a chip at the rear heel pilot pin of the left grip; the chip not readily visible from the sides. A very decent early civilian sold swing out cylinder Colt, and in quite nice condition. Fine+ $1145
