The exterior is basically grey “no-finish” metal with overall light to medium pitting and no cylinder scene remaining. VG original grips. Just an average New Model Navy that likely saw a year or two of Civil War usage. But being the most scarce of the “martial sized” percussion Colts with less than 39000 of this model being made (and many of those were converted), the New Navy was a relatively uncommon revolver. For a modest collection, this will be a very decent addition of a relatively scarce Colt. About Good+ to Very Good. $1150 SOLD Antique: Yes |
