Description:
This Winchester 1866 carbine serial numbered 77896 is in excellent condition for a gun manufactured around 1871. This carbine is equipped with a rifle style butt-stock which was not uncommon for the period. Carbines and rifles were made up out of available parts in bins. Barrel and mag tube are mostly colored with blue turning to patina. Stocks have only light handling marks. The trap door butt plate has the three piece cleaning rod in it.
