Description:
1977 manufacture 20 gauge 3” chambers. 26 3/8” barrels with narrow ¼” ventilated rib, choked modified (.019) and full (.029). The rib has a single white bead. The top barrel has BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST. LOUIS, MO. & MONTREAL PQ and MADE IN BELGIUM on the left side. The right side is marked with the gauge, chamber length and patent numbers. Receiver is engraved with typical Grade 1 pattern. This gun has a single, selective inertia trigger. The round knob pistol grip stock and forearm are checkered with the standard two point pattern at 20 lines per inch. The length of pull is 14” over the Browning buttplate. Drop at comb is 1 3/8”, drop at heel is 2 3/8”. Weight is 6.65 lbs. Condition: Overall very good. The barrels retain 90-95% original bluing with light handling marks and rubs. The vent rib has a ding in it about 4” from the breech but it is in the solid part of the rib and cannot be seen while looking down it. The receiver and trigger guard retain 99% of an excellent (possibly factory) reblue job. The forend iron retains 40-50% original bluing. The buttstock and forend are in excellent condition with minor handling dings. The stock finish has been lightly sanded.
