Description:
Serial #502502, 9mm Para., 2 3/4” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This West German pistol is the “Kurz” or short version of the P4 and has a very short barrel with slide mounted front sight along with a P4 style decocker instead of a safety. The metal retains 99% of the original matte blue finish, having only some hints of silvering along a few of the high edges betraying any use. The checkered walnut grips look to be replacements since we have not seen this style of checkering on a P38K. They have "311" penciled on the back and are very high quality and in very good condition. The pistol comes in its original black Walther case with two magazines, cleaning rod, papers, and original test target. This is one of the most desirable of the post-war P.38 variants and this example rates excellent condition overall. FFL
