Shipping Split Payment Types Accepted: All forms - must clear first! Description: Here we have an older and well used but not abused, original English shotgun. Checkering is worn, and the wood shows some extended use and the bores are bright but pitted. On the plus side, the gun has Exhibiton wood with dark swirls through-out the butt-stock and the pics don't do the figure of the wood full justice. It also has cool Serpentine fences common on early guns by the maker. I've shot Crows with this one with hand-loads, but would recommend you have a Smith look at it to get their opinion. I have quite a few Damascus guns that I shoot and some I throw up to my shoulder and touch-off with appropriate loads if everything looks right. Others I pull a string on first to fire from a distance. I'm just saying I've shot and hunted with this shotgun a bit. It has the side maker's design safety of which most of the gold has worn off. Gun is very tight! It would pair nicely with the hammer gun I have for sale and I would discount a purchase of both! Please see specs for gun dimensions! Thanks for looking and Good Shooting! Barrel thichness just added!
