RARE MODEL 657-4 STAINLESS STEEL .41 MAGNUM "MOUNTAIN GUN" WITH 4" BARREL, MADE ONLY IN 1998, this was a lighter weight version of the standard M-657 series in that it had a lighter, tapered barrel to make it more "carry-friendly" in a holster for "mountain hiking" where weight matters (Living in Montana I know about this personally!), this one has been carried and used a little, but is overall fine condition as one would expect from a stainless steel revolver, Hogue rubber grips show some chipping at the upper edge on the left side- easily and cheaply replaced, tight action, exc. bright bore, marked "MOUNTAIN GUN" on the right side of the barrel (photo looks like this marking is worn- that's just light reflection- it's all there), almost never seen variation that saw very limited production, comes with a quality leather thumb break right hand holster.
