Description:
The Savage Revolving Fire-Arms Co. Navy Model .36 caliber revolver was made from 1861 to the mid 1860s, with a total of 20,000 manufactured.  The guns were fitted with a 7 1/8 inch barrel, 6-round unfluted cylinder, hinged type loading lever, two-piece wood grips, and color case-hardened hammer, lever, trigger guard, and triggers.  This gun is as described but has lost most all of its original blue and color case-hardened finishes.  The well fitting wood grips retain lots of their original finish and have no cracks, there is a small repair on the right grip.  The rifling in the bore is sharp, though there is some spotty minor surface corrosion, the action works perfectly and all the screw heads are un-molested.  This has to be one of the most unique revolvers made, very cool.    PRICE:   $1,950      We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.   PH. 859-276-1419         We Buy, Sell and Trade.    Have a firearms collection to sell, let us know.       (sales at am-firearms)
