The 7x30 cartridge is recognized as a "step up" ballistically with low recoil and above average accuracy. The rifle has a short (19.25 inch) barrel that will allow complete utilization of the cartridge properties and it is convenient to carry afield. The rifle comes complete with Lee loading dies.
