Description:
The Bearcat is a small single action revolver in 22 cal 6-shot. This would be the first variation in an early gun with hand grips that are without the medallion. The Bearcat came out in 1958 and had different series of serial numbers. This one is just over 6k. An early production gun likely in the 2nd or third year. This gun shows some holster wear mostly at the muzzle and the ejector shroud. Loading gate has turned more of a brown color than the rest of the metal which is common for the early Rugers. Very light wear to high points of the cylinder. Cylinder scene is very nice as is the action. Comes with original box including instruction sheet. Also included is a period Red Head leather holster.
