Description:
SOLD PENDING APPROVAL    PRICE REDUCTION $650.We are offering a Colt 1862 Police or Pocket Navy Revolver made in 1874.According to the Wilson Book of Colt Firearms this is a very confusing model as it is not a Conversion of a 1849 pocket model but an attempt to enter the Center fire and rim fire market after the Civil War with its own unique features.Made from 1873 untill 1880 many different barrels,Styles and some with and with out ejectors. With serial number 4020 this is identified with a 3.5" Round barrell and no loading gate or ejector,36 Cal.Rimfire.Please see the Wilson Book Page 230 of this specfic model. All numbers match including the cylinder as seen in the photos.Smooth overall brown patina with all markings clear. Some cylinder scene found.Action functions great and the Bore is some what shinny with strong lands and groves. There is even some original varnish on the Walnut Grips. This is considered an antique and can be shipped within the US but please be aware of your states specfic gun laws relating to ownership.Shipment the responsibility of the buyer and to include FULL VALUE INSURANCE.Please see all my other antique Arms being offered this week
