15-65 REMINGTON NEW MODEL ARMY PERCUSSION CIVIL WAR REVOLVER
15-65 Remington New Model Army Percussion Civil War Revolver, 44 cal., 6-shot 8” BBL. Serial 52882 on barrel and frame. Standard Markings, “Patented Sept 14 1858/E Remington & Sons Ilion New York, USA/New Model”, are almost worn off, the bore is very good/fine with 65-70% of rifling and some corrosion in the lands; cylinder chambers are a little dirty. Actions works well and locks up fairly tight when cocked, metal is very clean. Walnut grips have a few dents, fit well and look good. Overall a very good shooter and original antique Civil War Era Remington Army suitable for collector/shooter. (15-65)
